PSG: new details emerge in Achraf Hakimi trial

On Tuesday, Achraf Hakimi was referred to a departmental criminal court for a rape trial, following allegations made in 2023.

According to information from RMC, which reviewed the indictment order, the investigating judge determined that there was sufficient evidence to warrant a criminal trial. Achraf Hakimi's lawyers have already announced their intention to appeal.

The document details the events of the evening as described by the plaintiff, from the initial social media exchanges to the meeting at the PSG player's home. The order highlights that the account of alleged digital penetration is considered "consistent and detailed", and is supported by real-time messages sent to a friend, as well as swift confidences shared with several close contacts.

The judge also referenced physical evidence and psychological expert reports submitted during the investigation. The defense, meanwhile, denies any wrongdoing and suggests a possible extortion attempt, citing certain messages exchanged between the plaintiff and her acquaintances, as well as points raised in the expert reports.

All these incriminating and exculpatory elements will now be meticulously examined in open court before the competent jurisdiction.
