On Wednesday evening, after the Champions League match won by PSG against Manchester City (4-2), Ousmane Dembélé gave an amusing post-match interview.

Speaking to the press, the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner joked about the extra days off his coach Luis Enrique sometimes gives him. “It was a good match. I really enjoy playing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, especially when I come back from holiday—it’s a real pleasure. Yes, if possible, until March. The coach decides (laughs),” he said.

On Friday, on the eve of the trip to Strasbourg, Enrique responded to his player’s comments. “Ous’, he’s the boss. He jokes all the time and I love his passion for football. Of course it’s a joke. I’m always open to players taking some time off. It’s my responsibility to give them holidays, but that means going to train at the Campus,” he said at a press conference.

PSG’s medical update

Tomorrow, PSG travel to Strasbourg for the seventh round of Ligue 1. For this match, Luis Enrique will have most of his players available. The Parisian club has just issued its medical bulletin, stating that Alessandro Longoni, the third-choice goalkeeper, had “returned to individual training.”

The other piece of good news is that Senny Mayulu, who suffered a thigh injury during the France Under-21 camp, has returned to training with the group.
