Paris Saint-Germain is keeping a close eye on Diogo Costa. According to information from L’Équipe, the FC Porto goalkeeper is among the options being considered by the Parisian management to reinforce their squad.

This move is tied to the uncertainties surrounding the goalkeeper position at the club. Lucas Chevalier reportedly does not want to settle for a backup role, while Matvey Safonov has yet to win over the sporting management. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, the European champions are exploring several options on the market, with Diogo Costa among the most highly rated profiles.

A Portuguese international and undisputed starter at Porto, the 26-year-old keeper is coming off a strong season, further cementing his standing as one of the continent’s top goalkeepers. Under contract with the Dragons until 2030, Costa will not be easy to sign. PSG will likely have to make a significant financial effort to convince Porto to let go of their last line of defense.
