PSG raises Luis Enrique's salary by a huge amount: a big change!

Reports, most notably from the newspaper Sport, indicate that Luis Enrique's salary has been increased from €12 million per year to €20 million, a massive sum that makes him one of the highest-paid coaches in the world today. Some reports have linked this salary increase to PSG's determination to retain their coach and avoid losing him to a direct rival, especially given Barcelona's reported interest in their former manager.

This salary increase, which reached 8 million euros for the Spanish coach, reflects the high regard the French management holds for him, as confirmed by PSG's current president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who praised the Spaniard, saying: "He is the best coach in the world."

Rewriting history for Paris Saint-Germain

Since taking over in 2023, Enrique has permanently etched his name into the club’s record books. With 13 trophies collected during his tenure, he now stands as the most successful manager in the French side's history.

His haul includes three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France victories, and—most notably—the club’s first-ever pair of Champions League crowns, alongside a collection of other domestic and continental silverware.
