PSG sets the return dates for World Cup players

On July 27, PSG will resume training without its World Cup players, according to Le Parisien.

For this first session, Luis Enrique will rely on Matveï Safonov, Lucas Chevalier, Illia Zabarnyi, Lucas Beraldo, Dro Fernandez, Senny Mayulu, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The opening day will be dedicated to a series of medical tests. The 14 players who took part in the World Cup will return in stages. PSG has planned to grant each of them a four-week vacation, calculated from the date their national team was eliminated.

There is an exception for Fabián Ruiz and the five French internationals—Lucas Hernández, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Désiré Doué, Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, as well as new signing Lucas Digne. Their rest period will be limited to three weeks. Willian Pacho (Ecuador) and Ibrahim Mbaye (Senegal), eliminated in the round of 32, are expected at the start of August and could be available quickly.

As for Vitinha, João Neves (Portugal), and Marquinhos (Brazil), who exited in the round of 16, their involvement against Lens in the Trophée des Champions cannot be ruled out. Nuno Mendes, injured during Portugal's defeat to Spain on July 6 (0-1), will take his time to return to full fitness. For Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), who was knocked out in the quarterfinals, his return may come a bit later.
