Quinten Timber joins OM

Dutch midfielder Quinten Timber, 24, is set to embark on a new chapter in the French league. Olympique de Marseille officially announced his transfer this Friday.

The player leaves Feyenoord before the end of the season, which will allow the Dutch club to receive a transfer fee estimated at €4.5 million plus bonuses. Borussia Dortmund also made an attempt to sign him, but OM managed to outpace the German side.

This season, Timber has played 24 matches and has earned eight caps with the Dutch national team.
