Raja faces a storm: three key players uncertain, six on the chopping block!
The Raja Club Athletic management, led by Abdellah Birouaine, has begun efforts to renew the contracts of several key players, hoping to maintain squad stability ahead of next season.
According to reliable media sources, talks are underway with three important members of the squad: right-back Mohamed Boulacsout, striker Adam Ennaffati, and central defender Abdellah Khafifi. The goal is to reach an agreement to extend their contracts and keep them within the team.
However, the financial demands made by these players have proved particularly steep, putting the management in a tough spot. Unable to meet those demands immediately, the club has decided to postpone negotiations to a later date.
Raja is currently experiencing a severe economic crisis, which is heavily restricting its ability to satisfy the contractual expectations of its key players.
Six imminent departures from the squad!
Meanwhile, a member of the club’s executive committee told WinWin that President Birouaine will soon present Tunisian coach Lassâad Chabbi with a list of six players likely to leave the club at the end of the season due to unsatisfactory performances.
This list, which includes players who have been regularly criticized by supporters, features defenders Yasser Baldé and Ben Issa Ben Omar, attackers Abderrahmane Soussi and Pape Ousmane Sakho, midfielder Federico Bikoro, and winger Marouane Zila.
