Real Betis confirmed excellent news this Monday, April 28. Cédric Bakambu will be available for the first leg against Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League semi-final this Thursday, May 1, 2025. The Congolese striker, who was rested against Real Valladolid due to knee inflammation, has resumed team training at Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol.

Following reassuring medical exams, Betis' medical staff has cleared the return of the 34-year-old player. This decision comes at a perfect time ahead of a European showdown. Cédric Bakambu's impact on the continental stage is unquestionable. Having already scored several decisive goals during Betis' European campaign, the former Villarreal player has shown impressive form despite a quieter role in La Liga.

Cédric Bakambu has scored 7 goals in 11 appearances this season in the Europa Conference League, compared to 2 goals in 21 matches in the Spanish Liga. Coach Manuel Pellegrini is delighted to welcome back his Congolese striker ahead of the encounter with Fiorentina, currently 8th in Serie A.
