Cédric Bakambu feels rejuvenated after a recovery period. The Congolese striker for Real Betis expressed his satisfaction this Wednesday, March 5, 2025, regarding his current physical condition and his burning desire to shine on the field.

On the eve of the first leg of the Conference League Round of 16, the 33-year-old appeared at a pre-match press conference before the Real Betis vs Vitória Sport Clube game. With much enthusiasm and motivation, he provided reassuring updates on his physical state. Cédric Bakambu now feels in better shape.

"I am already feeling better physically, and it shows on the pitch," he confided.

With the departure of Brazilian Vítor Roque and the unavailability of Cucho Hernández, Bakambu finds himself in a leading role in the Seville attack in the Conference League. He approaches this responsibility with calm and determination.

"The departure of Vitor Roque doesn't change anything for me because I work as usual. I'll be able to play more and seize the moment to help my teammates. I'm in a good period and I want to show it on the field. I can't wait to play," Bakambu declared.

The Congolese international has played 16 matches this season in the Spanish Liga with Real Betis, scoring 1 goal and providing two assists.
