For weeks, Dani Carvajal has remained an enigma at Real Madrid. Although he has recovered from his knee injuries, the right-back has been part of the squad for a month, but has barely played in 2026, logging just 27 minutes across 9 matches.

Carvajal remains patient and motivated, as he reminded everyone on his social media. "Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to maintain a positive attitude while waiting," he wrote.

With just a few months left on his contract, Dani Carvajal now needs to reclaim his starting spot to secure his future at Real Madrid and aim for a place in the 2026 World Cup squad. His return could come tonight against Valencia, but according to AS, nothing has been confirmed yet.
