Real Madrid: Liverpool and AS Roma keeping tabs on Endrick

Without a single minute since returning to the squad, Endrick is already attracting interest ahead of January.

Endrick returned to Real Madrid this summer hoping to make a fresh start in the Spanish capital. However, the Brazilian’s new season has not gone according to plan. An injury slowed his return and, although he rejoined the squad last week, the 20-year-old has yet to play a single competitive minute.

According to The Athletic, Real Madrid are already keeping the possibility of another January loan open. The club and coaching staff are expected to review his situation midway through the campaign before making a final decision.

Roma are already monitoring him

His situation has quickly attracted attention in Italy. According to Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma are closely monitoring Endrick and are considering a loan deal with an option to buy.

The structure could also include a buy-back clause for Real Madrid, allowing the Spanish club to retain some control over his future. Estadio Deportivo has also mentioned Liverpool among the clubs linked with the Brazilian, although no advanced negotiations have been reported at this stage.

A successful spell at Lyon

Another loan would not necessarily represent a step backwards. Last season, Endrick’s spell at Lyon helped him regain rhythm, confidence and a more important role. Across all competitions, he scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists in 21 appearances for the French club.

In Ligue 1 alone, he registered 5 goals and 7 assists in 16 matches. A second spell away from Madrid could therefore offer him another opportunity to reproduce that impact, provided he joins a club willing to give him regular minutes.

With January still several months away, Endrick’s future is already shaping up to be one of Real Madrid’s main transfer storylines.
