Real Madrid: reassuring news for Ibrahima Konaté

Ibrahima Konaté has withdrawn from the France squad after suffering a right knee injury. However, Real Madrid have no reason to worry.

After he injured his right knee in training with France on Wednesday, he was replaced by Leny Yoro. French centre-back Ibrahima Konaté should also return to action fairly quickly.

Indeed, the France international, who is suffering from a slight sprain, should be fully recovered within 7 to 8 days, according to RMC. Ibrahima Konaté should therefore be available for Real Madrid's return to La Liga on October 10, against Villarreal.
