Real Madrid remains undecided regarding one of its best players due to injury!
French star Kylian Mbappé has returned from international duty with France after sustaining an injury in the match against Türkiye, and there are now doubts regarding the nature of the injury.
The situation regarding his injury sustained with the national team has taken a different turn; while he could have trained with the squad at Valdebebas, the French star has not trained with the rest of the team there at all since his return.
Kylian Mbappé absent from Real Madrid training
Press reports—most notably from Spanish journalist Marcos Benito of El Chiringuito—have revealed that Mbappé did indeed return from international duty with the French national team carrying an injury and has not trained with the squad at Valdebebas for two days.
Mbappe has not been to Valdebebas for the last two days, It is a mystery. He comes back injured from France, but he is not recovering at the training ground.
Marcos Benito said.
No reason has been offered as to why the Frenchman is missing, yet given that the problem is thought to be nothing serious, questions are being asked.
Real Madrid are already dealing with a number of fitness concerns, and their preference would be for their main forward to be fully recovered and available once the international window comes to an end.
Injuries are a major concern for José Mourinho
Mbappe finds himself among a group of six Real Madrid squad members who are presently battling fitness issues, with Fede Valverde, Ibrahima Konate, Rodrygo, Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy making up the rest of that list.
The club's ongoing struggle with player availability has become a real talking point over the course of this campaign. By this point in the season, Mourinho's men have already picked up nine injuries — a figure that mirrors exactly what they had accumulated at the same stage a year ago.
While the Portuguese manager has made no secret of his determination to turn around the club's fortunes on the injury front, the opening stretch of the season has offered little evidence that anything has genuinely changed compared to previous years.
