Real Madrid: Rodrygo's return date announced

The question of Rodrygo's return date already has an answer at Real Madrid.

After suffering a torn cruciate ligament in March, Rodrygo is still waiting to regain full fitness. According to information from Cadena SER, José Mourinho and Real Madrid's medical staff are hoping to have the Brazilian winger back at the start of 2027. An earlier comeback has been ruled out.

The former Santos star will then face stiff competition following the signing of Yan Diomandé. The Ivorian international winger was acquired from RB Leipzig for a hefty sum of €140 million.
