Real Madrid: Sami Khedira back alongside Mourinho

Sami Khedira is back at Real Madrid. The former German international is part of the team that will accompany José Mourinho, who returns to the bench for the Madrid club to prepare for the 2026-2027 season.

The two men know each other well. It was under the Portuguese manager that Khedira signed for Real Madrid in 2010 from Stuttgart. He quickly became a key figure in Mourinho's system, playing nearly 130 matches under his leadership.

Real Madrid has officially announced Mourinho's return to Valdebebas alongside several members of his staff, including Sami Khedira. A new chapter thus begins for the 2014 World Cup winner, now taking on a supporting role within the Madrid staff.
