Real Madrid: some players no longer want Álvaro Arbeloa

On Monday night, Real Madrid suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Getafe. By Tuesday, nearly everyone in the Spanish capital was under fire. Álvaro Arbeloa was no exception.

The Spanish coach is hanging on and refuses to give up. But last night's loss could prove costly for him. The Real Madrid squad is reportedly deeply shaken and has lost confidence in their coach since Monday night's setback.

Arbeloa will now have to rally his players, many of whom are not fully behind him. In fact, according to The Athletic, while some players—including Vinicius Jr.—have been pleased since he took charge, others do not support Xabi Alonso's successor. The British outlet adds that the atmosphere within the team has deteriorated.
