Real Madrid: this trend is confirmed for the transfer window

Real Madrid is on the verge of entering the second era of José Mourinho. The Portuguese tactician is already setting his priorities.

Thirteen years after his departure, José Mourinho is close to returning to the Real Madrid bench. The Portuguese manager already has his sights set on tweaking the current squad. According to information from Cadena Ser, Mourinho has two main targets for his midfield, both familiar names. He would like Los Blancos to bring in Vitinha—"very difficult to acquire", the outlet concedes—and Mateus Fernandes, who is considered "easier" to sign.

Fernandes is valued by West Ham at around €100 million, but the London club's relegation to the Championship could make negotiations easier. Other current Real Madrid players may have reason to worry: Gonzalo Garcia, Eduardo Camavinga, Fran García, Franco Mastantuono, and Brahim Diaz are not really in Mourinho's plans and may need to consider their futures elsewhere.
