Yan Diomande continues to adapt to life at Real Madrid. Having joined from RB Leipzig this summer, the young Ivorian forward still has several steps to take before fully establishing himself in the Madrid squad. In Spain, some are already imagining a huge profit for the club.

Adaptation still under way

At just 19, Yan Diomande is discovering a new environment and an especially high level of expectations in Madrid. Since the start of the season, the forward has primarily been used as a substitute. His physical adaptation and development are still under way, as Real Madrid want to give him time to improve.

The Spanish club invested €125 million to sign him from RB Leipzig. With the various bonuses included in the agreement, the deal could reach €140 million.

On the Spanish show El Chiringuito de Jugones, journalist Josep Pedrerol made a particularly ambitious prediction about Diomande’s future:

Diomande will be something very special. Real Madrid will sell him for €200 million in three years.

For now, Diomande must continue his development in Madrid and gradually earn more playing time. The size of his transfer fee already reflects the club’s confidence in him, but his future performances will determine his place in the Madrid project.
