Riyad Mahrez, a possible return to Europe?

The Riyad Mahrez case is gaining momentum in the offices of Fenerbahçe SK, where the club is aiming to make a major splash in the summer transfer window.

A European comeback in the works

A former star of Manchester City and Leicester City, Mahrez remains a global reference at his position despite his move to Saudi Arabia. Now playing for Al Ahli Saudi FC, the Algerian international continues to impress with strong attacking stats this season.

Under contract until 2027, the player reportedly isn't entirely against a return to Europe. This situation is keeping Fenerbahçe alert, even though the deal remains financially complex. For now, nothing is finalized, but Fenerbahçe is keeping a close watch on what could become one of the biggest signings of the next transfer window.
