Rodez AF: Ibrahima Baldé set to leave?

The transfer market is heating up at Rodez AF. According to Centre Presse Aveyron, Senegalese striker Ibrahima Baldé is on the verge of leaving Rodez AF.

At 22 years old and still under contract with Rodez until June 2027, Baldé is expected to sign with Cercle Brugge. After a string of impressive performances, it's no surprise he's attracting interest from abroad. The official announcement of his transfer could come in the next few hours.

To anticipate this departure, Rodez management is already working on finding his replacement. One of the names being considered is Rayane Messi, a left winger currently at RC Strasbourg. He is reportedly on the short-list of potential replacements, although talks have not yet reached a conclusion. The big question now is whether Rodez can quickly secure an attacking reinforcement to make up for the loss of their Senegalese goal scorer.
