In comments given to the Spanish daily AS, the "Phenomenon" insisted that La Roja fully deserved their world title, applauding their style of play, collective strength, and consistent performances throughout the tournament.
The former Real Madrid striker believes Spain completely controlled the final against Argentina, imposing their footballing identity through squad quality and tactical discipline.
Ronaldo even went so far as to claim that Spanish football has now surpassed its Brazilian counterpart.
"Spain has a very clear footballing identity and plays a beautiful game. In my opinion, their current style is the best in the world. It has even overtaken the famous Brazilian football philosophy," declared the two-time World Cup winner.
