Ruben Amorim on Bryan Mbeumo: “He’s a workhorse”

Bryan Mbeumo continues to win everyone over at Manchester United. After netting a brace in the 4-2 victory over Brighton, the forward once again impressed manager Ruben Amorim.

Signed this summer for £65m plus £6m in bonuses, Mbeumo has quickly shown that he’s the perfect fit for the Red Devils. After the match, Amorim was full of praise:

He’s a workhorse. He’s lethal on the break and he’s improving in the final third. His link-up with Amad is a real headache for defenders.

The Portuguese coach also highlighted that the player’s motivation was decisive in his transfer:

When a player wants to come here, regardless of the competition or the club’s situation, we do everything to make it happen. And that was the case with Mbeumo.

With three consecutive Premier League wins, Manchester United are back on track. And Mbeumo is already proving he could be one of the signings of the year.
