Sadibou Sané named March's rising star in Ligue 2

​Sadibou Sané has been named "rising star of March" in Ligue 2. This accolade rewards the remarkable performances of the young Senegalese defender from FC Metz who is gradually establishing himself in the Metz defense.​

Arriving in July 2023 from the Génération Foot academy in Senegal, Sadibou Sané signed a five-year contract with FC Metz. From the start, he impressed with his defensive discipline and commitment on the field. At just 20 years old, he has become an undisputed starter in Stéphane Le Mignan's team. His presence in central defense is highly beneficial for the club in France's D2, alongside veterans like Ismaël Traoré and Aboubacar Lô. Sadibou Sané has played 24 matches this season in Ligue 2, all as a starter, demonstrating his impact and consistency on the team.
