From his very first days in Jeddah, Aouar says he felt right at home.
"I immediately felt comfortable when I arrived. The coach was Laurent Blanc... the relationship we had was exceptional," he revealed.
The Algerian international also shared how the presence of a predominantly French-speaking staff and the warm welcome from the locals made his adaptation smooth:
"It was really easy, even the players spoke French."
Pleased with the team's achievements, Aouar makes no secret of his pride:
"We couldn’t have done better than last season. We did the double, we won everything."
This fresh start, built on renewed confidence and greater responsibility, confirms that the former Lyon man has truly reignited his career in a league on the rise.
