Senegal's president generously rewards young African champions

The winners of the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations and the African School Football Championship proudly presented their trophies on Monday, June 8, to the President of Senegal. Cash rewards, scholarships, and iPads—Bassirou Diomaye Faye spared no expense in honoring Africa's rising football stars.

Each player (U-15 and U-17) received a cash bonus, an 11th-generation iPad, two years of health insurance, and a two-year scholarship. The coaching staff were also celebrated, each receiving a financial reward and an iPad.
