Shadrack Addo joins Atlético Madrid

The former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Shadrack Addo, is embarking on a new adventure in Europe. He has been loaned by Trival Valderas to Atlético Madrid until the end of the 2025-26 season.

At 22 years old, Addo made a name for himself in Ghana thanks to his energy, technical ability, and commitment. After leaving Kotoko in June 2024, he was briefly spotted training with Hearts of Oak before heading to Spain.

Before his departure, he made 25 appearances and scored one goal for Kotoko over two seasons. In Madrid, he will have the chance to develop further in Atlético’s renowned youth academy and aim to reignite his career on the European stage.
