Betway Premiership side Siwelele FC are on the verge of completing the signing of Hearts of Oak attacker Hamza Issah, Foot Africa has learnt.
The 24-year-old is expected to join on a season-long loan, with the Ghana Premier League outfit set to receive a loan fee worth in the region of R160 000.
Issah, who rose through the development ranks at Hearts of Oak before being promoted to the first-team in the 2023/24 campaign, has never played outside of his native Ghana.
He was reportedly close to joining Siwelele in the January transfer window, but a deal never materialized, with his club accusing the South African team of tapping him up.
Now, sources have told this publication that the Bloemfontein-based outfit has reached an agreement in principle to sign Issah on loan from Hearts of Oak.
The player is expected to touch down in South Africa in the coming days to complete the formalities of his proposed move to the lucrative Betway Premiership.
Issah made 33 appearances in the league last season, chipping in with five goals to help his team finish third in the Ghanaian Premier League standings.
Notably, Siwelele have an option to make the move permanent should the player prove crucial and stake his claim in the rigorous South African topflight division.
