South Sudanese winger signs in Sweden

Swedish club IFK Göteborg has announced the signing of Peter Lazarus, an 18-year-old winger. The young player, originally from South Sudan, joins from the Future Stars academy and has penned a five-year deal.

David Vukovic, head of recruitment, describes Lazarus as an unpredictable player with immense attacking potential. He can perform on various types of pitches and uses his technical skills to create scoring opportunities. Moreover, he's a talented finisher, capable of scoring with both feet.

Vukovic emphasizes that this signing fits into a long-term vision, giving Lazarus the chance to integrate into the first team and take part in various training sessions and matches. In addition to his transfer, Lazarus has already represented his country, South Sudan, at senior international level. This new addition could bring an exciting new dynamic to the Göteborg squad.
