Sporting: Ousmane Diomandé on the verge of signing with Nottingham Forest

Considered a highly promising talent, Sporting Portugal's central defender Ousmane Diomandé is now on the brink of a move to Nottingham Forest in this summer transfer window.

According to transfer expert journalist Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday, the English club is showing strong confidence in landing the Ivorian international. Despite a release clause set at €80 million in the former FC Midtjylland player's contract, the Reds are expected to finalize the deal for €40 million, including bonuses.

A fantastic piece of business for Sporting, who signed Diomandé for €14.5 million in January 2023.
