Sudan head coach Kwesi Appiah's called on the local football federation to provide performance based bonuses for his players ahead of their highly anticipated 2026 world cup qualifier against Senegal.

Focus on Key Fixtures

Sudan's set to face Senegal on Mar 18, followed by matchup against South Sudan on March 24, in Group B of the african qualifiers. Appiah emphasized that his primary focus is on the clash with Senegal and believes his team has proven itself as one of Africa’s emerging forces after securing qualification for Afcon.

“Senegal's strong team but they’re not the only one. We're also among the best teams in Africa. Our performances have earned us recognition and now we want to achieve even more” Appiah stated in televised interview.

The Need for Incentives

The Ghanaian coach urged the Sudanese football association to reward the players for their recent efforts.

“I hope the federation provides incentives for the players. They deserve it after the hard work they’ve put in. These rewards will motivate them to get positive result against big team like Senegal which would boost our qualification chances”

Commitment to Success

Appiah reaffirmed his dedication to pushing Sudan to new heights expressing gratitude for the support he's received from fans.

“I feel the love from the Sudanese people and I share that feeling with them. I'm fully committed to working hard and taking this team to the highest possible level” he concluded.
