Taribo West's birthday: the legendary Super Eagle turns 51

Born on March 26, 1974, in Port Harcourt, the illustrious midfielder of Nigeria's Super Eagles, Taribo West, celebrates his 51st birthday.

Known for his eccentric hairstyles, the Nigerian rock played at the top European level, donning the colors of both Milan rivals, namely AC Milan and Inter Milan, with whom he won the UEFA Cup in 1998.

A key player with Nigeria, "Tahiti Bob," as he was fondly called in Lagos, was one of the great architects of the historic gold medal won by the "Super Eagles" at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996.
