Thanks to Hamza Rafia, Espérance de Tunis clinch their 17th Tunisian Cup

Espérance Sportive de Tunis salvaged their season by capturing the Tunisian Cup with a hard-fought victory over Espérance de Zarzis (1-0) on Sunday night in the final.

The Blood and Gold made the difference thanks to a goal by Hamza Rafia in the 62nd minute of a tense contest played at the Hammadi-Agrebi Stadium in Radès.

This triumph secures a second consecutive crown in the competition for the Bab Souika club, raising their total to 17 titles—an all-time record. Espérance de Tunis further cements their status as the most successful club in Tunisian Cup history.

The Tunisian champions also extend their lead over their main rivals, Club Africain, who hold 13 trophies in their cabinet.
