FC Barcelona cemented their status as La Liga leaders with an authoritative 4-1 victory over Villarreal CF. Although the Catalans were tested at times, they could always rely on the inspiration of Lamine Yamal, whose exceptional performance defined the match.

The young Spanish winger opened the scoring before repeating the feat with a stunning strike into the top corner just minutes later. Villarreal briefly rekindled hope through Pape Gueye, but Yamal quickly took charge again, completing his hat-trick with an assist from P. Gonzalez.
