A high stakes clash at the Metropolitano

Barcelona travel to the Spanish capital looking to build on their strong early season momentum under head coach Hansi Flick. Standing in their way is Diego Simeone's resilient Atletico Madrid setting up one of the most compelling tactical matchups of the La Liga calendar.

With both clubs competing at the top of the table, Sunday's encounter carries significant implications for the title race as the league season enters its second quarter.

If you are looking for ways to stream the match on your phone, tablet, or smart TV, here is the complete global broadcasting schedule:

Key players to watch

Barcelona will look to Lamine Yamal & Raphinha to unlock Atletico's defensive shape. Yamal enters the match as one of La Liga's most lethal creators while Raphinha's blistering form provides the creative spark needed to break down Diego Simeone's low block.

Conversely, the host side relies on their disciplined structure and swift counter attacks to challenge the visiting backline. Atletico's main threat will be spear headed by Antoine Griezmann whose tactical intelligence in transition remains elite alongside summer signing Julian Alvarez who provides the clinical finishing needed to exploit any spaces left by Barcelona's high defensive line.

What happens next?

Following Sunday's high stakes clash at the Cívitas Metropolitano in Madrid, both teams will temporarily pause their domestic campaigns.

Instead of midweek club commitments, the season transitions into the November FIFA International Break.

The majority of both squads will jet off to represent their respective national teams in crucial UEFA Nations League & CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers over the next fortnight.
