The proposed package sits at £5 million, roughly 333 million Egyptian pounds. The newly promoted English club is desperate to solidify its midfield ranks for the 2026 /27 campaign hoping to finally break their historical frustrating pattern of suffering immediate relegation back to the Championship.

Ashour's transfer value skyrocketed following a string of dominant performances at the World Cup 2026. The midfield engine set the tone for the Pharaohs by netting their opening goal of the tournament against Belgium.
