The Senegalese and Spanish federations are racing to win the services of a talented player!

Press reports revealed that the Spanish federation and its football officials are seriously looking forward in the past few days to convince a player whose roots come from Senegal to represent the Spanish national team and register him as a new player who chose the European teams instead of representing their native country.

Assane Diao is the talented player who is currently igniting the atmosphere with Como in the Serie A team coached by the legendary Cesc Fabregas, and as some Spanish newspapers have revealed that the Spanish Football Federation wants with all its might to convince the player to represent La Roja instead of the Lions.

His football career started with Spanish youth clubs such as Badajoz, Felicia Negra and Balon de Cadiz, before he joined the Real Betis academy in 2021 at the age of sixteen to make 47 appearances for the Andalusian team, during which he scored 6 goals and made 3 assists.
