Thomas Tuchel gives his take on Man City players being called up to the England squad!
Thomas Tuchel, the man at the helm of England's national team, has offered a noteworthy stance when it comes to the Manchester City contingent and their international futures.
Speaking to ESPN, the German coach made it clear that he would not shut the door on players simply because of their club's circumstances. Even in a scenario where City were compelled to drop out of the top flight and spend the following season plying their trade in the lower divisions, Tuchel insisted he would still be willing to give them consideration.

Thomas Tuchel comments on the call-up of Man City players
Turning his attention to the cloud of potential disciplinary sanctions and the looming threat of relegation hanging over the Manchester club, Tuchel made his priorities plain: sporting merit and a player's current form would always come first in his thinking.
The England boss explained that every individual would be judged on his own merits, with the strongest performers chosen for specific tasks, training camps and international tournaments — no matter what level of competition their club happens to be playing at.
“I think I will always try to pick the best team for the camp, for the occasion, for the tournament and I will never rule out that they don't play in the top flight in their country. So, you need to look at this case-by-case.”
