A major development could soon unfold within Raja Casablanca. Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi is edging ever closer to the Green Eagles’ bench, where he’s tipped to succeed South African tactician Fadlu Davids, whose future at the club now looks increasingly uncertain.

Talks advancing at pace

According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, negotiations between Raja Casablanca’s management and the former Kaizer Chiefs coach are moving forward at a brisk pace, with positive signals indicating that an agreement between both parties is within reach.

On his official account on the X platform, Galetti stated:

"Nasreddine Nabi is the main candidate to succeed Fadlu Davids as Raja Casablanca’s head coach."

He went on to add:

"Talks between the Moroccan giants and the coach are progressing quickly, with positive signs suggesting a potential agreement between the two sides. Further developments are expected soon."

At 60 years old, Nasreddine Nabi boasts extensive experience in African football. Over his career, the Tunisian tactician has managed several prestigious clubs, including Young Africans in Tanzania, Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa, and AS FAR Rabat in Morocco.
