Tottenham renews pursuit of Omar Marmoush

The Omar Marmoush saga could be set for another twist. Seldom used since joining Manchester City, the Egyptian international is once again on Tottenham Hotspur's radar.

According to journalist Nicolò Schira, the London club is considering submitting an official offer to the Citizens in the coming weeks. Spurs’ interest is said to be largely driven by their manager Roberto De Zerbi, who sees Marmoush as a player capable of injecting more pace and versatility into his attacking lineup.

Having joined from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 and under contract until 2029, the 27-year-old has struggled to cement his spot in Manchester City's rotation. Despite some flashes of brilliance, he managed just three goals and three assists in 21 Premier League appearances last season. Eager to reclaim a regular starting role, the Pharaohs striker could welcome a move to Tottenham, where a fresh challenge could await him.
