Tottenham wants to reignite Mastantuono's career
Franco Mastantuono could leave Real Madrid this summer, just a few months after arriving from River Plate. The 18-year-old Argentine attacking midfielder has been short on playing time, and a loan move is being considered to accelerate his development.
Tottenham has emerged as one of the most interested clubs. The Spurs are keen to bring the young talent in on loan, after their attempt for a permanent transfer was turned down by the Madrid management. Real Madrid's new head coach, José Mourinho, is said to have given his approval for a temporary departure. The Spanish club wants Mastantuono to gain experience in a competitive league while maintaining control over his future.
The competition remains fierce, however. Several European clubs, including Villarreal, Porto, Benfica, Inter Milan, and Juventus, are also monitoring the situation. Under contract with Real Madrid until 2031, Mastantuono will have to choose a project that can guarantee him playing time.
