Transfer: Amadou Ba-Sy moves to Scotland

FC Rouen officially announced the departure of Amadou Ba-Sy on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. The French-Senegalese striker is leaving the Normandy club for Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish Premiership.

Arriving last summer from Vizela in the Portuguese second division, after a loan spell at Academico de Coimbra in the third tier, the Nice-born forward quickly made his mark. He scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 29 appearances this season.

These performances convinced Heart of Midlothian, who brought him to Scotland for the next three years.
At 24 years old, Amadou Ba-Sy is stepping up to a new level, leaving France's third division behind to join the Scottish Premiership, the pinnacle of football in Scotland.
