Transfer: FC Nordsjælland sign a talent from ASEC Mimosas

Ivory Coast U-17 international Vaboue Doumbia takes a decisive leap in his young career. The 18-year-old right-back is set to explore Ivorian football in Denmark.

Vaboue Doumbia is leaving ASEC Mimosas to join FC Nordsjælland on a contract running until 2031. Both clubs announced the completion of the deal on June 22.

Doumbia shone at the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations and the 2025 World Cup. The right-back, who came up through the ranks at the Mimo Sifcom Academy, has now signed for FC Nordsjælland. At just 18, he joins a club renowned for its outstanding youth development project.
