Stockholm will be the first stop on Alwaly Baba Camara’s European adventure. The 18-year-old Senegalese midfielder departs Intente Sportive Grand Yoff and signs a five-year contract with Hammarby IF.

Alwaly Baba Camara has inked a long-term deal with Hammarby IF. The five-year contract ties the Senegalese midfielder to the renowned Allsvenskan club. Camara will begin his journey with the reserve team to adapt before targeting a spot in the first team.

Camara burst onto the international stage during the 2025 U-17 World Cup. In four matches, he showcased his remarkable talent, notably scoring in the eighth minute against Costa Rica. These eye-catching performances drew attention even in France, where he had a trial with Stade Brestois.

At just 18, Alwaly Baba Camara is stepping up to a new level by joining a club renowned for nurturing young talent.
