A new European challenge awaits Yvan Dibango. After leaving Kryvbas in Ukraine as a free agent, the 24-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract with LASK, one of the Austrian Bundesliga's top teams.

The Cameroonian defender will continue his career in the Austrian top flight, donning the LASK jersey. Having ended his stint with Ukrainian club Kryvbas, he has officially committed to his new club for the next three seasons. His new deal with the Austrian side runs until 2029.

Leaving Ukraine after a successful season

Yvan Dibango arrives in Austria with solid experience gained in the Ukrainian Premier League. The Yaoundé-born player comes off an excellent campaign with Kryvbas, where he established himself as a key pillar in the back line.

During this standout season, the Cameroonian defender made 19 appearances and provided two assists, underlining his defensive value and showcasing his attacking contributions from the flank.

Ready to bring his experience

Yvan Dibango is eager to discover Austrian football. Upon signing his new three-year deal, the resolute defender did not hide his excitement about taking on this new challenge in a competitive league with regular European exposure.

"I'm really looking forward to starting my journey in these new colors and getting to know my teammates," said Yvan Dibango during his official unveiling.
