Transfer market: Cameroonian Yvan Dibango leaves Ukraine for Austria
A new European challenge awaits Yvan Dibango. After leaving Kryvbas in Ukraine as a free agent, the 24-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract with LASK, one of the Austrian Bundesliga's top teams.
The Cameroonian defender will continue his career in the Austrian top flight, donning the LASK jersey. Having ended his stint with Ukrainian club Kryvbas, he has officially committed to his new club for the next three seasons. His new deal with the Austrian side runs until 2029.
Leaving Ukraine after a successful season
Yvan Dibango arrives in Austria with solid experience gained in the Ukrainian Premier League. The Yaoundé-born player comes off an excellent campaign with Kryvbas, where he established himself as a key pillar in the back line.
During this standout season, the Cameroonian defender made 19 appearances and provided two assists, underlining his defensive value and showcasing his attacking contributions from the flank.
