Rennes turn down €23m offer from Fulham for Ait Boudlal
According to Top Mercato, citing The Athletic, the London club submitted a €23 million bid to sign the Mohammed VI Football Academy graduate after his outstanding performances for Stade Rennais last season.
Despite the sizable offer, Rennes management rejected the bid, arguing it did not meet the valuation of a player now seen as a key piece in their sporting project.
At just 20 years old, the Moroccan international has established himself as a starter, featuring in 20 Ligue 1 matches last season. His performances earned the trust of the coaching staff and confirmed his status as one of the most promising defenders of his generation.
The Athletic also reports that Fulham, now managed by Álvaro Arbeloa, have not dropped their pursuit. The English club is considering returning with a new proposal, though they are well aware it will be difficult to convince Rennes to part with one of their brightest talents this transfer window.
