Turkish club reignites interest in Bamba Dieng

Trabzonspor has resumed talks to sign Bamba Dieng. The Turkish club is seeking offensive reinforcements, especially if Augusto leaves, and sees the Senegal international as a golden opportunity.

The 26-year-old forward is out of contract with Lorient, making him available on a free transfer—a major advantage for Trabzonspor. After scoring 16 goals in 26 matches last season, Bamba Dieng is coming off a highly impressive campaign. Currently with Senegal at the 2026 World Cup, he remains a favored option for coach Fatih Tekke.

The Turkish management has reestablished contact with his representatives and may offer a signing bonus to outpace the competition. Trabzonspor is determined to bolster its attack while keeping Paul Onuachu, who is not expected to be sold.
