Modou Keita and Modou Lamin Ceesay, two of the most promising young talents in Gambian football, are joining Miedź Legnica, a Polish second division club. Trained at BST Galaxy FC, they were pivotal in the club's historic rise to the first division. This transfer is a testament to their meteoric ascent.

In an official statement, the Gambian club praised the journey of the two players while expressing pride in their departure:

Keita and Ceesay have been key players in our development. Their dedication and talent have marked the club's history. Seeing them leave is a significant moment, but also a source of immense pride.

Before their departure, the two players took the time to thank the club. Modou Keita, 19, spoke with emotion:

BST Galaxy FC will always remain in my heart. This club has given me everything and allowed me to fulfill my dream. I am grateful to the president, the staff, and my teammates. This new chapter is a challenge I embrace with enthusiasm.

His counterpart Modou Lamin Ceesay, also 19, highlighted the impact of his time at BST Galaxy FC:

Every moment spent here has shaped me, from the training center to the biggest matches. I leave with a sense of accomplishment and the certainty that the club will continue to grow.

By joining Miedź Legnica, Keita and Ceesay step into a new dimension, with the ambition to write their own story on the European stage.
