U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers: Guinea crushes Niger
In the first leg of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers, Guinea asserted their dominance with an emphatic 5-2 win over Niger on Tuesday evening at General Seyni Kountché Stadium. The Guinean women firmly stake their claim in the qualification race.
Guinea controlled the match from start to finish. Aminata Touré shone with a sensational hat-trick. Couyaté Aïcha and Nana Camara added two more goals for the Syli National U-17 women. With this victory, Guinea takes a comfortable lead ahead of the return leg scheduled for April 18 at General Seyni Kountché Stadium in Niamey, kicking off at 15:30 GMT.
The winner of this two-legged tie will face Nigeria in the second round of qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026.
