U16 friendly: Morocco falls to Norway
During the March 2026 FIFA international break, Morocco's U16 team suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat against Norway U16 on Wednesday, March 25.
This friendly encounter was designed to give the young Atlas Lions valuable experience against a well-organized and quick European opponent. The Norwegians seized the advantage within the first half hour. Thomas Leikanger broke the deadlock in the 34th minute, quickly followed by Eirik Granaas in the 36th. Leikanger then netted his second goal in the 70th minute, sealing the Nordic victory.
