U20 AFCON: Friendly Kenya vs Morocco canceled after new draw

Initially, the U20 teams of Kenya and Morocco were set to face off in a friendly match in Morocco, as part of their preparations for the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations. However, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) conducted a new draw on April 13, 2025, following Tunisia's reinstatement and Ivory Coast's withdrawal as host nation.

This new draw placed Kenya and Morocco in the same group B, alongside Nigeria and Tunisia. This situation forced both federations to cancel the scheduled friendly to avoid revealing their respective strategies ahead of their official clash during the tournament. The 2025 U20 AFCON will take place in Egypt from April 27 to May 18, 2025.
